Awesome Himalayan / Nepalese / Indian food. The chicken chili momo are by far the best I've ever had. So much so I had to stop and take a photo. So flavourful and spicy. Best dumpling in town. Really enjoyed the fresh filling on the vegetable steamed momo as well. And the deep fried momo offer a nice difference in texture. The Tikka masala was excellent, and the biryani was great. And the garlic naan was spot on. Look forward to reordering all of these dishes again. Staff were also very pleasant when taking the order and at pickup. Easy parking behind the location. Highly recommended

Sunday June 15th 2025 So thrilled to have stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for places to eat! Victoria finally has a spot serving authentic Indo-Chinese and Nepalese cuisine – and wow, they’re doing it right! Let’s start with the ambience – cozy, inviting, and with plenty of seating options. Now the food... absolutely lip-smacking! I had the veg noodles and couldn’t believe how perfect those thin strands were – tasted just like home. No compromise on flavour whatsoever. The momos? Juiciest I’ve had in Canada. Period. And don’t get me started on the butter and garlic naans – crispy on the edges, soft in the center, straight from the tandoor. Perfection. So happy this place has opened up in Victoria – already planning to become a regular! Shoutout to our lovely server too – super sweet and attentive!

My wife and I recently went to Himalayan Flavours to celebrate her birthday. We had a great time and enjoyed a genuine Nepali cuisine for the first time here in Victoria. The food evoked the authentic flavors of Nepali heritage, blending Indo-Chinese cuisine. Perfect for people like me seeking South Asian flavors. Nice ambience about the place too with excellent service and reasonable price. To top it all off, the restaurant staff, along with the owner, presented my wife with a surprise birthday cake, making for a wholesome experience. We thank them for this beautiful gesture. Definitely going there again soon. Highly recommend the place, if you are looking for South Asian taste and food culture.

Following the recommendation of a friend, we went to Himalayan Flavours Restaurant. Ample space inside, doesn’t feel congested at all. Even though this is a Nepalese speciality restaurant, their Indian dishes are very good. The staff were welcoming and well mannered, we even had the owner coming out to take our orders. Recommend: Chicken Shahi Korma: tasty and flavourful, lots of chicken and thick gravy. Aloo Tikki: two aloo tikkis with choley, masala, and mix of spices. Chicken Momo (Deepfried): Liked their mashed chicken filling. Butter Naan: Soft naan with brushing of butter, tears easily and soft in the mouth as well. We also tried their Choley Bhaturey and bought home a Chicken Tikka Wrap. Choley Bhaturey was average, your Indian friend could probably make it better at home. Chicken Tikka Wrap was okay, expected a bit more of chicken, felt like a little bit of chicken and a whole lot of green fillings in every bite.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not only is their food absolutely amazing—bursting with authentic Indian flavors—but you can truly see how much they care and take pride in what they do. We were there celebrating my mother’s birthday, and without us even asking, they surprised her by bringing out a small cake on a robot that rolled up to our table while singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a special, thoughtful touch that made the night unforgettable. Beyond the incredible food, what really stands out is the sense of community they create. Each dish we ordered was beautifully plated, and every bite was exceptional. We were all so happy with our experience—my grandmother loved it so much she went back three days in a row! I’m truly happy to say we’ll be returning as a family many more times. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such wonderful memories.

Best place to have your meal with friends or family. Great menu and lots of options for vegetarian and non vegetarian. I have ordered for momos. Taste was amazing but if you really wanna enjoy the momos please ask for hot sauce it pairs great with steamed momos specially. Our host Kiran was a great guy and his recommendation for mango mousse se was great, it’s worth to try. When we were there there was family who was celebrating the birthday and it was great to see that they served the cake via robot with the happy birthday song , that was pretty amazing if you got kids with you. They got a small bar menu so you can have some drinks with your food. I would love to cone back here.. I hope they will keep this up.
